Senior Developer Relations Engineer @ Block

Moved from Square to Block, continuing my work in developer relations. Leading external devrel efforts for our open source product Goose, an AI agent that automates engineering tasks. Built and launched our engineering blog at engineering.block.xyz/blog, and created Repo Quest, an internal educational tool designed to help engineers make their repositories ready for use by AI agents.

2022 - 2025

Senior Developer Relations Engineer @ Square

Demystifying Square's developer platform for 3rd party developers through educational content and communication between external and internal developers.

Created video tutorials, gave conference talks, and built comprehensive content to support our 3rd party developer community. Produced educational materials that helped developers understand and integrate with Square's APIs more effectively.

Supported Square's SDKs by triaging bugs, implementing fixes, and highlighting API inconsistencies to internal teams. This work helped improve the overall health and usability of the platform's surface area, making it easier for developers to build on Square.

2020 - 2022

Partner Engineer @ Take-Two Interactive

Led integration partnerships for major gaming publishers (2K Games, Private Division, Rockstar). Helped deliver Direct to Consumer storefronts and in game social services.

Full Stack Developer @ AdvisoryCloud

Worked at an early-stage startup building modern web applications and services. Focused on rapid prototyping and iterative development and learned to scale infra on terraform, and deploy cloud applications on AWS

2017 - 2018

Programmer Analyst @ Sonoma State University

Maintained and developed CGI scripts using PERL (... yes, you read that correctly). Worked on campus automations as well as maintaining and improving the universitie's identity management system.
